Demeter Foundation has meeting with State Senator Janet Bewley

Alice Pauser, founder of The Demeter Foundation, was contacted by Senator Janet Bewley to have a meeting regarding her daughter Genevieve Pauser's article on trauma treatment for women inmates and other issues regarding incarcerated and formerly incarcerated women in Wisconsin. Pauser asked that two formerly incarcerated women with trauma histories also attend the meeting to discuss their lived experience. Information on the Demeter Foundation's work will also be discussed. We are honored to be able to meet with the Senator on March 16.
